Cliff Lee went out and gave the young Rangers' pitching staff the right medicine, i.e. 7 innings and a lot of veteran poise on the mound.
Benji Molina, a July addition that looks better and better all of the time, got some clutch hits and did his excellent work behind the plate.
Did you see Molina go to the mound and tell Feliz to shape up and throw strikes?
Feliz did and game 1 is history.
What will it take to keep Lee & Molina around?
I don't know but I have a funny feeling that the Rangers will match it and keep Cliff Lee around. (After all, isn't Lee from neighboring Arkansas?)
