The Dallas Stars picked a bad weekend to get the 2010-11 season underway:
1) The Rangers are in the post season for the first time since 1999......and could sweep the Rays tomorrow.
2) The Texas A&M Aggies will play Arkansas in Dallas on Saturday afternoon.
3) The Cowboys play Tennessee on Sunday right after the Rangers play another home playoff game.
Frankly, who has time to watch another home team? How many things can you watch at one time?
I will make the time....but the Stars need a lot of help and some luck!
They need a new owner......a little cash and lots of young guys to break through and allow Brenden Morrow to move the puck.
How will they do? Are they good enough to make the NHL playoffs?
I don't know.
The 2010 Stars could be very exciting because a lot of young guys want to make a name for themselves.
Or, they could be another young team in transition and draw small crowds.
Let's hope for the "exciting option"!
Go Stars because we need some excitement around here in February and March.
