From the UK, The Economist reports this: Coming back to bite him
Let me translate: You will have a hard time finding a Dem up for reelection praising or expressing his support for BO-Care.
It's political poison. I have never seen a more unpopular bill in recent memory.
Deroy Murdock goes beyond politics and discusses the lousy bill in further detail.
He is right: BO-Care won't control. It will blow up the budgets!
BO-Care should be repealed for two reasons:
1) The legislative process was corrupt. BO-Care passed because of legislative trickery and backroom deals, such as the special treatment given to Nebraska and Louisiana.
2) It does nothing to control costs, which is what everyone was promised.
Repeal, repeal and repeal.
It may not happen in 2011 because Pres BO can simply veto the repeal. However, it will be possible in 2012 when a new Republican president can repeal it and introduce some market based reforms!
Repeal, repeal and repeal!
