The amazing Gallup poll!

From now until election day, you will see more and more polls based on "likely voters".

The latest Gallup and Rasmussen polls have awful news for "hope and change"!

Gallup is offering two election day scenarios.

The first one is based on low turnout, or a historic turnout. The second one is based on a high turnout, which is unusual for "mid-term elections".

They are both awful for Dems:

"Republicans maintain a substantial advantage over Democrats among likely voters in Gallup's generic ballot for Congress -- in both lower- and higher-turnout scenarios -- fueled in part by the GOP's strong showing among independents."

Rasmussen has similar results:

"With just three weeks to go until Election Day, Republicans hold an eight-point lead on the Generic Congressional Ballot."

Polls are polls and I don't "count my chickens" until the results come in.

Nevertheless, this is bad news because the polling data has been so consistent for months.

Pres BO and the Dems have desperately trying to motivate their base but it does not seem to be working.

We just learned today that disillusionment is rampant at the "yes we can" team.

According to Bloomberg:

"More than 4 of 10 likely voters who say they once considered themselves Obama backers now are either less supportive or say they no longer support him at all, according to a Bloomberg National Poll conducted Oct. 7-10. "

Again, the election is not over and we need to vote and get our friends to vote. However, I've never seen a political star crash this fast in such a short time!

Moral of the story: Be careful about voting for the guy who tells you what you want to hear......you are very likely to be disappointed......just ask a "yes we can" screamer!
