First, it looks like BO's White House loves to raise taxes but not pay them.
Today, we learned this: 41 Obama White House aides owe the IRS $831,000 in back taxes -- and they're not alone
However, this is Disneyland compared to Rep EB Johnson of Dallas and Rep Bishop of Georgia.
Rep Johnson has been fighting front page stories about the mishandling of scholarship money in her district:
"Longtime Dallas congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson has awarded thousands of dollars in college scholarships to four relatives and a top aide's two children since 2005, using foundation funds set aside for black lawmakers' causes. " (Dallas News)
Hats off to The Dallas Morning News for doing some good work on this story!
Rep Bishop of Georgia has a similar problem:
"Rep. Sanford Bishop (D-Ga.) awarded three scholarships from the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation to his stepdaughter and wife’s niece between 2003 and 2005, according to records from the nonprofit group. " (Politico)
This is a disgrace.
We need a complete and total investigation.
