A lot has changed since I came here in those final days of the last election, but what hasn't is the choice facing this country.
It's still fear versus hope, the past versus the future.
Who exactly is peddling fear?
Pres BO continues to peddle the line that the Republicans are holding his agenda back.
In fact, it is the Dems who are unwilling to tackle any big issues before the election.
At the end of the day, Pres BO's rhetoric may excite Dems, specially in light of all of those "intensity polls".
It will also drive up Republican turnout and turn off those independents who took a chance on him in 2008.
We were told that Pres BO would outline serious programs about the US economy.
We got instead a lot of populist nonsense about corporations and tax cuts for the rich.
Our advice to the president is simple: lead and stop whining about everybody else!
