They often happen in September when teams are positioning themselves for the post season.
The Nationals are not in contention but the Marlins are alive in the AL East.
On Tuesday night, center fielder Morgan of the Nationals ran over the Marlins' catcher. Unfortunately, catcher Hayes is out for the season!

On Wednesday night, Morgan got hit and it should have been over at that point.
Unfortunately, Morgan decides to steal second and third......you don't steal third when one team is up by 10 runs!
The Marlins were angry and threw at Morgan.....and then the fight broke out.
Morgan of the Nationals was wrong here. You don't steal third in a lopsided game. That's bad form!
I am glad that Sanchez nailed Morgan.
