"Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli issued a legal opinion Friday saying state law enforcement officers are allowed to check the immigration status of anyone "stopped or arrested". (Fox)

Frankly, it is silly that we are even debating whether or not a police officer has the right to question your immigration status.

At the end of the day, the states have the right, and responsibility, to ensure that people are living legally.
