So what's happened to "the great communicator"?
Pres BO got in trouble again when he spoke without the teleprompter.
His comments on the "mosque controversy" were confusing coming after the speech the night before!
CNN’s Ed Hornick thinks that Pres BO's message may be getting incoherent.
Steve Calabresi writes this:
"President Obama gets in trouble in unscripted moments because at some level he does not really know America very well nor does he thoroughly identify with it.
Obama grew up in the very atypical island state of Hawaii and lived most of his adult life in the very atypical communities of Cambridge, Mass., and Hyde Park in Chicago.
His views resonate with some who live on the East and West Coast but all the flyover states in between are terra incognita.
Unscripted moments are deadly for Obama because they reveal the vast disconnect between his world view and that of people living in the Midwest, the Plains and Rocky Mountain states, and the South.
It is in these areas that the Democrats will lose badly the upcoming midterm election."
My money is on Steve's comments.
First, candidate BO was the least known candidate to ever get nominated or elected.
He grew up in left wing precincts and spent much of life hanging around with leftists.
He attended Rev Wright's church. What else needs to be said?
Unfortunately, we were never allowed to investigate BO's past!
Sadly, the media was too madly in love with the "historic" nature of his candidacy. Candidate BO never got the kind "exam" that presidential candidates usually get!
So here we are.
We are watching the real Obama every time that he speaks to a "live mike".....and the Dems are scared to death! (Generic Ballot: Republican 48%, Democrat 36%)
