A few days ago, Robert Gibbs blasted what he called the "professional left".
I guess that Mr. Gibbs is surprised that "the left" expects Pres BO to keep all of those campaign promises that he made!
During the campaign, a rather irresponsible and demogogic BO went after the "Bush tax cuts" and blamed them for everything.
Today, Pres BO faces a rather stark reality: Extend the cuts or face a huge tax increase in the middle of a recession!
So what's a president to do?
My guess is that he will extend the Bush tax cuts and let Robert Gibbs deal with the professional left!
Headline for later this year: Say hello to extending "the Bush tax cuts", or the latest chapter in the "candidate's promises meet reality" series!
