We understand that the Dems are going to bring back their favorite play: Blame Bush!
They can't defend any of Pres BO's programs.
So it's back to blaming Bush, according to a story in by Michael Shear in The Wash Post!
What's wrong with this strategy?
First, it did not work in New Jersey and Massachusetts!
Second, it is not working with the public: 48% Blame Obama for Bad Economy, 47% Blame Bush
Third, it is stupid and childish for an executive to keep blaming his predecessor in year 2.
As for Pres Bush, I miss two things:
1) I miss a foreign policy that called our enemies what they are and sent a very strong message that we will defend our interests!
2) I miss those deficits (2-3% of GDP) in contrast to our unsustainable pace.
"Blame Bush" won't work but it is all that they have!
