What exactly happened with the Lockerbie bomber?


Remember the outrage over the release of the Lockerbie bomber?

We learned this yesterday:

"The Obama administration told Scottish officials last August that, although it opposed any release of the Lockerbie bomber, it would rather see him released in Scotland than transferred to a Libyan prison, according to a secret memo obtained by The Sunday Times in London." (FoxNews)

We need more info before we jump to a conclusion.

I guess that the Obama administration can start by explaining what happened.

We remind you that 200 Americans were killed in that airplane.

"I don't know how far this will go, but it's quite a disturbing story.

The claim is that President Obama deceived the nation when he said we were surprised and disappointed by Scotland's release, to Libya, of the Lockerbie bomber.

It now appears that we were not only well aware of it, but involved in negotiations on the subject...."
