It's July and baseball is in the air!
I guess that's what happens when your team is in first place and 6 guys are going to the All star Game.
Yes I know that everyone is a bit puzzled by the Orioles sweeping the Rangers......but stuff like that happens over 162 games!
When do the O's play the Angels? I hope that they play them next week when the second half resumes.
I hope that Corey Patterson of the O's hits as many doubles off Angels' pitching as he did here!
Overall, it was a great half for the Rangers.
The season resumes next Thursday and it will be very tough for Texas.
They start the 2nd half in Boston, go to Detroit and play the Angels quickly.
On the positive side, split in Boston, Detroit and win the Angels' series and that's a 5-6 game lead at the end of July.
On the negative side, play poorly and the Angels could be back on top in a couple of weeks.
Time will tell and my money is on the Rangers surviving this very hard portion of the schedule.
And we don't the play the Orioles again!
