I feel bad that her words were taken out of context.
At the same, Miss Sherrod is not looking very smart by going around the networks and blaming everything on FOX News.
It was The White House who fired her....not FOX News!
Maureen Dowd, the liberal columnist at the very liberal NY Times, wants the White House to hire Miss Sherrod as Director of Black Outreach!
Miss Dowd does not think that the Obama White House has enough black people in its ranks!
How bad is the liberal "buyer's remorse" getting?
Beyond Miss Sherrod, I also feel bad for the millions of decent Americans who've been branded racist because they disagree with Pres BO.
In many ways, all of this racial war started when irresponsible Dems called the tea parties racist.
Yes, it is true that there were a couple of ugly anti-BO placards.
At the same time, weren't there always anti-Bush placards at the Dem rallies?
Unfortunately, large crowds will always bring out some people who want to make noise, such as the people who were marching with "Che Guevarra" signs at the immigration rallies!
Here is an idea for a truce or a peace treaty:
No more charges of "racism".
Don't call me a "racista" because I believe in LEGAL immigration.
Don't brand me a racist because I think that Pres BO's policies are hurting the country.
Finally, we in the right supported Pres BO when he sent 30,000 troops to Afghanistan.
On the other hand, there are many white Dems who did not vote to fund the Afghanistan war......is anybody calling them racists because they oppose a black president's policy?
