Let's not pop champagne but the Rangers are looking like a very serious contender to win the AL West.
Texas is 4-1 through Boston and Detroit.....they have a 5 game lead and will play the Angels this weekend.
It's possible that Texas could be 5 to 7 games up on the Angels by taking 3 of 4.
Can the Angels make up 7 games? Yes.
Can they do it against the 2010 Rangers? I don't think so!
Last night, Tommy Hunter went 7 scoreless innings and Texas won 8-0!
You can add Ian Kinsler and Nelson Cruz to the list of very hot Ranger hitters.
And Josh Hamilton continues his unbelievable hitting streak: He is hitting .357 and hitting long home runs!
