Can Josh Hamilton win the triple crown?

How tough is it to win the triple crown in baseball? How tough is it to lead the league in batting average, HRs and RBIs?

How tough? It has not happened since Carl Yaztremski did it in 1967!

Can Josh Hamilton do it?

As of today, Hamilton is hitting .340 with 21 HRs and 63 RBIs.

Hamilton is within striking distance on average and HRs and 12 behind Guerero on RBIs.

My guess is that he won't because it is such a hard thing to do. At the same time, Hamilton has been playing in another dimension lately.

And he should get a lot of good pitches to hit hitting around Vlad Guerrero and Nelson Cruz!

I'll predict a HR title and real close on winning the batting title.

P.S. Of course, Hamilton could do a repeat of June and then all bets are off!
