During the primary, Hillary Clinton tried desperately to connect BO to "the Chicago way" but the media did not care about it.
Wonder how many in the media regret that?
The Chicago Tribune has a great editorial: Obama Looks Like an Old Hand at the Chicago Way
Jenniffer Rubin has some thoughts:
"Obama has been compared to Jimmy Carter (in his misguided notions about the world), to Richard Nixon (in his sleazy backroom dealing and lack of transparency) and to LBJ (in his infatuation with government).
Unfortunately, it appears that he embodies the worst of three unsuccessful presidents.
And like all three, he may manage to drag his party down with him."
Rick Klein adds another thought:
"President Obama's Change Looking Like More of the Same"
Kristen Powers adds this:
"Obama promised to change Washington's culture.
Instead, his White House counsel justified the White House move by pointing out that past White Houses have done Sestak-type deals, though he offered no examples.
Change indeed."
We remind you that Miss Powers was one of his biggest supporters. We return to what we said during the 2008 campaign.
BO's campaign was built around the fantasy that everything was Bush's fault and that BO was somehow different.
BO is not different and Bush looks better and better all of the time!
