Rock history moment: "Satisfaction" is 45 years old!

It was a landmark moment in pop/rock history. It was 45 years ago that a great record was released.

We are talking about The Rolling Stones and "Satisfaction". It was voted by Rolling Stone (the magazine not related to the group) as the # 2 rock song of all time.

"Satisfaction" clearly put The Rolling Stones on the music map. However, I think that "Jumpin' Jack Flash" is the group's greatest song.

Nevertheless, we look back at one of the big moments in rock history.

The Stones were Mick Jagger on vocals and Keith Richards on lead guitar. The other 3 were Charlie Watts on drums, Bill Wyman on bass and the late Brian Jones was the other guitar.

What would rock music sound like without Mick Jagger and Keith Richards? It wouldn't be the same!

Here is the video:

"I can't get no satisfaction,
I can't get no satisfaction.

'Cause I try and I try and I try and I try.
I can't get no, I can't get no.

When I'm drivin' in my car

and a man comes on the radio

and he's tellin' me more and more

about some useless information

supposed to fire my imagination.

I can't get no, oh no no no.

Hey hey hey, that's what I say.

I can't get no satisfaction, I can't get no satisfaction.
'Cause I try and I try and I try and I try.

I can't get no, I can't get no.

When I'm watchin' my TV
and a man comes on
and tells me
how white my shirts can be.
but he can't be a man 'cause he doesn't smoke

the same cigarrettes as me.
I can't get no, oh no no no.

Hey hey hey, that's what I say.

I can't get no satisfaction,
I can't get no girl reaction.
'Cause I try and I try and I try and I try.
I can't get no, I can't get no.

When I'm ridin' round the world

and I'm doin' this and
I'm signing that
and I'm tryin' to make some girl
who tells me a baby better come back a maybe next week

'cause you see I'm on losing streak.
I can't get no, oh no no no. a Hey hey hey, that's what I say.
I can't get no, I can't get no,

I can't get no satisfaction,

no satisfaction, no satisfaction, no satisfaction."
