Like most people who grew up playing baseball or US football, or watched my sons do the same thing, I am not a big follower of soccer.
Nevertheless, we want Team USA to do well and enjoy watching the way that our friends react to every game.
On Friday morning, Team USA was robbed.....what else do you call it?
To be fair, Team USA "wimped out" in the first half. However, they should have won 3-2 and picked up those 3 big points.
Referees will make mistakes and I'm OK with that.
Two weeks ago, a baseball umpire blew a call and cost a Detroit pitcher a perfect game.
How did that ump react?
He made a public statement, apologized and acted like a man.
Where is this ref? Why is he hiding from the media or won't explain his call?
Again, where is FIFA's plan B? Shouldn't FIFA consider an extra ref for World Cup games or replays for controversial calls?
