Landon won the game.
He also saved FIFA's "hide" with people like me who do not understand how referees could be so bad at this level.
Where are they finding these refs?
Team USA was the victim of atrocious refereeing decisions.
Remember Slovenia? Every expert called it a perfectly good goal! It would have give Team USA 3 points.
Today, Team USA had another goal taken away. It was ruled offside but replays proved otherwise.
I've watched baseball. football, hockey and basketball. I have never seen so many many bad calls.
Should FIFA bring replay? I say yes but FIFA is always stubborn about change.
Should FIFA get better refs? I hope so because you can't have games decided by such lousy calls.
