Did Paul McCartney get the memo that US voters are not singing "All my loving" to Pres BO!

A couple of nights ago, Paul McCartney was given a special and well deserved award at The White House.

He even sang "Michelle" to the First Lady.

So far so good! I love Paul's music too!

However, Paul could not contain himself and proceeded to a very bad display of BDS, or Bush Derangement Syndrome.
("Bush Derangement Syndrome: the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies, the presidency -- nay -- the very existence of George W. Bush")

Someone should tell Paul that he was at The White House and attending a non-partisan event.

Paul was not attending a fundraiser in San Francisco. He was being honored by the American people.

It was not a political event!

Check this idiotic statement by Paul:

"
After the last eight years, it’s great to have a President who knows what a library is,” McCartney quipped."

Is that tasteless or what?

Beyond a lack of class, we remind Paul that Pres Bush was a voracious reader, a Harvard MBA and Mrs Bush worked as a librarian in West Texas.

Before we discuss Paul McCartney's comments at the White House, let's look at some political reality.

Back in the US, Pres BO's polls are crashing and there is genuine discontent among those who got hooked on "hope and change":

Obama's Youth Brigade Burns Out by Dayo Olopade

Obama Breaks Whale Promise

GALLUP SURVEY BRINGS NO SMILES TO DEMS

I guess that Paul McCartney did not get the memo or maybe he chose not to read it.

Someone should tell Paul that Pres BO is carrying out Pres Bush's policy in Iraq and just sent 30,000 troops to Afghanistan.

And GITMO is not closing either! And Pres BO is dropping a lot of bombs in Pakistan even though the UN has criticized him!

We remind Paul, and anyone still infected with a bad case of BDS, that "Blaming Bush" did nothing for BO & Dems in New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts.

Worse than that, how many more times is Pres BO going to sit quietly and let foreigners take cheap shots at former presidents or US laws that they don't like?

Isn't Pres BO the president of the US? Shouldn't he stand up against those who take cheap shots at US voters?

P.S. I like what Jay Nordlinger wrote about all of this:

"
Can anyone tell me why people are such schmucks?

Why they are so graceless and clueless and nasty?

I mean, Paul McCartney’s like the richest, most popular, most honored musician in the world.

Does he not have it in him to behave like a gentleman — or at least a non-boor — while he’s being celebrated at the White House?

Does he have to be the Wanda Sykes of popular music?

Is it not possible to love Obama, as McCartney does, without hating Bush — or at least insulting him on a high, non-political occasion?"
