As we wrote before, it was a lot easier when BO gave speeches, made lots of promises and had them jumping up and down chanting "si se puede"!
More bad news for Pres BO: "No se puede" is the word of the day!
According to Gallup, Pres BO faces the following electoral situation:
"Hispanics -- and particularly Hispanics who appear to be more closely associated with Hispanic immigrants -- have become increasingly disenchanted with President Obama this year."
The numbers are as follows:
"Blacks: 91% approval
Hispanics: 57% approval
Whites: 41% approval"
In simple terms, Pres BO can not be reelected with 41% from whites and declining support from Hispanics.
Why? Because whites represent 70% of the population and are more inclined to vote!
Why is BO's support dropping among "hispanos"?
The answer is simple: He promised an immigration reform proposal in year 1!
Also, Hispanics are watching Pres BO's management style and sadly concluding that "community organizing" is not good preparation for the presidency.
Where are we?
This is June of year 2 and Pres BO has not sent an immigration reform proposal to Congress!
Pres BO has another problem: He does not have the votes despite having a Dem majority!
Here is the moral of the story:
Beware of the man who makes a lot of promises and tells you what you want to hear!
He is very likely a charlatan.....as "hispanos" are sadly discovering!
Here is moral of the story part 2:
The Dems were never serious about immigration reform because the labor unions won't let them pass the guest worker program necessary to fix the problem.
"Lo siento hispanos"!
Don't blame me! I voted for McCain!
