Be careful about bashing Bush over Katrina.....the gulf may give you a hole that you can't plug!

Back in September 2005, Pres Bush had to deal with a Category 5 hurricane, a collapse in New Orleans' levies & the subsequent flooding of an entire US city.

Add to all of this an incompetent local government and a Louisiana governor on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

Nevertheless, Pres Bush was grilled and blamed for everything. He was even accused of being a racist because New Orleans is a black majority city.

It was grossly unfair but those were the days when the Dems were the party out of power.

Today, Pres BO faces a spill out of control, an ecological disaster and a public eager for an executive who leads rather than threaten BP with lawsuits.

Welcome to the presidency: Community organizers don't have to deal with oil spills.......and all of those other surprises that make governing so hard!

According to the latest polling data, Pres BO faces a lot more than an oil spill.

He is now facing a very skeptical public:

"American voters find the Obama administration's response to the BP oil spill lacking, and a majority thinks the administration is in over its head, according to a Fox
News poll released Thursday." (FOX)

Over its head?

Can you blame some of us for saying that "the messiah" is getting his due?

These are the same people who exploited everything about Katrina, including the disgusting "racist" angle.

The gulf has given BO a big kick in the butt......perhaps they understand now how easy it was "to blame everything on Bush" and how difficult it is to govern in the real world!
