A year ago, Sen Specter switched parties. He became a Dem because he wanted to be a part of the new majority!
In switching parties, Specter threw his friends and allies under the bus.
I remember supporting Specter in 2004 even though my heart was with Pat Toomey, his conservative primary opponent.
I remember Pres Bush catching a lot of heat for standing by Specter.
Tonight, Specter went down in Pennsylvania. He got exactly what he deserved.
Politics is about relationships and supporting your friends. Politics is about standing with your friends when they are in the majority or minority.
Specter has few friends tonight and he lost because of it!
And Pres BO did not help Specter one bit!
