In the last 3 years, we've given Pres Calderon credit for trying to make some reforms in Mexico.
We have strongly supported his tough stance against the cartels.
We ask again: What "genius" in Mexico is giving Pres Calderon political advice?
Check out this dialogue between Pres Calderon and CNN's Wolff Blitzer:
""WOLF BLITZER, HOST:
"Do Mexican police go around asking for papers of people who they suspect are illegal?"
FELIPE CALDERON, MEXICAN PRESIDENT:
"Of course."
BLITZER:
"If somebody sneaks in from Nicaragua or some other country in Central America through the southern border of Mexico, they wind up in Mexico, they can go get a job, they can work . . ."
CALDERON:
"No, no. If somebody do that without permission, we send back them.""
So they send them back?
We are happy that Mexico is serious about protecting its sovereignty.
We just don't understand why they complain when we do it!
