Did Maureen get the wrong tattoo?

We can add Maureen Dowd of The NY Times to the growing list of liberals who are growing more and more critical of Pres BO.

Check out
Captain Obvious Learns the Limits of Cool:

"Our president came down from the mountaintop.

He had applied the freshness of his independent thought to the critical matters at hand.

He had convened his seminar, reviewed the reviews, analyzed the intelligence every which way, thought anew about everything, and lo and behold, he finally emerged to tell us some stuff we already knew."

Like so many others, Maureen Dowd is starting to see Pres BO's cool demeanor as a sign of insecurity and indecision.

Beyond that, my guess is that most liberals are wondering about all of those broken campaign promises, too.

I like this from
Jenniffer Rubin:

"Not even the grande dame of the Gray Lady can avoid the conclusion that Obama hasn’t panned out.

The fellow whom she and the entire liberal media swooned over during the campaign and those very qualities the Left punditocracy touted as praiseworthy (e.g., intellecutalism, emotional reserve) have proven ill-suited to the job.

Obama is neither leading nor seeming to understand state craft."

Maureen is honest enough to share her pain.

My guess is that there are lots of men, and women, who agree with her.

My question to Maureen, and the growing list of disenchanted liberals is this:

What did they see in candidate BO's resume or work experience that led them to invest so much in him?

Shouldn't we look for some experience in a guy who wants to be president of the US?

I saw a candidate who had never run anything, 2 years in the US Senate and an undistinguished Illinois Senate career.

On the other hand, so many of them saw the coming of a Messiah.

Again, don't blame me.....I voted for McCain:
