Let's hope that the Yankees get to play this weekend......by the way, how did MLB allow the Phillies, Mets and Yankees to build new "state of the art" baseball facilities without a retractable roof?
Baseball is an outdoors game......not with temps in the low 30s!
Check out the weather reports from the Northeast:
"The tri-state was walloped by its first nor'easter of the season on Thursday, and some parts of New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut saw heavy snow showers fall throughout the day and night."
Here is a pre-game report: Yankees, Angels ready for cold, wet ALCS
On a more serious note, Jack Kelly has a few thoughts about global warming:
"Satellite data indicate the planet cooled significantly from 2007 to 2008, said Dr. John Christy of the University of Alabama at Huntsville.
This winter figures to be the coldest in decades, says the Farmer's Almanac.
The ice sheets in the Arctic and Antarctic are getting thicker.
Dr. Mojib Latif, a scientist on whom the UN relied heavily for its original alarmist forecasts, now says the planet will cool for the next 20 years."
Global cooling?
Who knows?
We do know this:
1) Al Gore has gotten very rich from global warming.
2) Al Gore refuses to debate anyone who challenges him, specially about all of those polar bears allegedly floating on the North Atlantic!
3) It's very cold and they are playing a baseball game tonight!
