The Economist has the details:
"IRAN has again failed to do deadlines. It has been evading them in the seven years since an opposition group first outed its extensive covert nuclear programme, despite five UN Security Council resolutions that have told it to halt its suspect nuclear work."
Bill Katz adds his thoughts:
"The Iranians are playing for time.
They will have the bomb.
And they may use it - not necessarily by putting it on the tip of a missile, but by smuggling it into a target country, and setting it off, leaving no fingerprints."
"The mullahs know that President Obama is eager to show diplomatic gains from his engagement strategy, and they are going to exploit that eagerness to get every possible concession.
The one thing Iran has shown no desire to bargain over is its intention to become a nuclear power."
So much for hope and change!
So much for "not meddling" and upset the Iranian leaders who were shooting their people weeks ago!
