It was interesting to watch Pres BO in New Hampshire now and compare it to the candidate in early 2008.
He was a lot more dynamic.
I guess that's what happens when you go from giving speeches to governing.
Andrew Cline has a good column today:
"Obama came to New Hampshire to stop the bleeding.
His campaign for massive health care reform is dying of 1,000 bipartisan cuts, and the White House senses that time is running out.
His diagnosis: Expose the critics as liars.
It didn't work."
BO has lost this round.
BO needs to go back to "square one" and search for a bi-partisan solution, such as tort reform and pre-existing conditions.
Otherwise, BO won't get a health care bill in 2009 or beyond!
I agree with Obama's Hoof-In-Mouth Disease by Larry Kudlow:
"Government insurance is what’s in trouble today.
Medicare is in the hole by about $40 trillion on a discounted present-value basis over the next 40 or 50 years."
P.S. I love this new ad from The Chamber of Commerce, or the people who create jobs:
