We can't vote in Mexico.
What happened?
Governing is hard, as Pres BO is learning up here.
"Giving speeches" is great.
"Healing the planet" is great.
"Telling people what they want to hear" is great.
Governing is a lot harder! Are the "yes we can" screamers ready for Obama's Katrina?
Pres Calderon is fighting a war that Mexico has to fight. He is also dealing with an international recession that he can't control.
What does the opposition in Mexico offer?
It sounds like "hope and change" to me!
We wish the PRI good luck as the new legislative party of Mexico.
We hope that they find some common ground with Pres Calderon.
My guess is that Mexicans will learn what we are painfully learning up here:
It's a lot easier to campaign than to govern!
Or as a wise man once said:
Be careful what you wish for because you may get it!
Just ask all of the "yes we can" screamers who voted for BO because he was going to end the war in Iraq, close GITMO and raise taxes "ONLY" for those making more $250,000!
