Here is the breakdown:
Bush years----1 botched test.
4 months of Obama----lots of missiles and a huge test.
NK fired a missile as Pres BO was giving an anti-nuke speech.
On Memorial Day, they perform a huge test, as big as the bombs dropped in Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
Coincidence? Perhaps.
Where do we go from here?
NK is not a direct threat to the US. They are only a threat in the sense that they could pass on their technology to terrorists.
NK is a threat to South Korea and Japan. Also, we are committed to defend SK and Japan.
When will Pres BO go on record and confirm it? When will Pres BO assure SK and Japan that the US will defend our allies? When will he tell our mothers that their sons may be headed for a huge war to protect SK and Japan?
Iran is watching. They need to see some toughness from Pres BO.
Otherwise, Iran may conclude that the US will not stand by its allies.
Ralph Peters is not impressed. He wrote TESTING O'S LIMITS (HE HAS NONE):

Is NK that "test" that candidate Biden warned us about?
Time will tell.
Michael Goodwin has a good message for Pres BO: On Obama's travels to Mideast and Europe, he should leave the apologies!
Frankly, I felt a lot safer when everybody hated us. At least, no one had to test Pres Bush!
