It wasn't supposed to be this way.
How many times did you hear that Pres Bush had turned the world against the US?
Who is turning the world, and specially our allies, against the US now?
Here is bad news from Canada, our good neighbor and a country with troops actually fighting in Afghanistan:
"Canada is interested in a free trade deal with the United States that would open up local government procurements to both countries.
The interest comes as Canadian companies continue to report difficulties in winning government contracts in U.S cities because of "Buy American" provisions in U.S. President Barack Obama's stimulus bill." (ROB GILLIES)
Naturally, Canada does not like to do business with a president and Dem Congress who violate agreements to pander to the unions!
Wonder how all of "those madly in love with BO" Canadians feel now?
We have already posted about the US-Mexico trade war over trucks! Wonder how all of the "si se puede" Mexicans feel now?
BO is not getting along very well with PM Merkel of Germany: THE LADY'S NOT DAZZLED?
BO and MO (Michelle) go to Paris and they are already in trouble with Sarkozy & Carla:
"The Obamas turn up in Paris this evening, but have declined a dinner invitation from the couple next door: the Sarkozys.
President Obama’s reluctance to spend more than minimum time with the French leader on his visit for the D-Day anniversary has come as an embarrassment to the Elysée Palace." (TimesOnLine)
Who else are they having dinner with? I don't get! Is BO mad at Sarkozy? Didn't Sarkozy say recently that BO was inexperienced and had never run anything? BO doesn't like the truth!
Let me add that Pres Sarkozy and PM Merkel were huge supporters of Pres Bush. Unfortunately, no one ever said that because the media was "into the template" that everybody hated Bush!
Over in Israel, our strongest ally in the region, BO is not very popular either: Defiant settlers build 'Obama huts' in West Bank...
Last, but not least, no one is sending troops to Afghanistan or lining up to take any of the GITMO detainees.
What's the score after 4 months of BO?
The Mexicans and Canadians don't like our arbitrary violations of NAFTA.
The Brits are furious about this and that.
The French don't know why BO visits France but won't dine with Sarkozy.
Israel?
The Israelis are wondering about BO's commitment.
Who is happy with BO?
North Korea is having a lot of fun.
Iran is not complaining.
Chavez is feeling pretty good.
Is this what millions voted for? I don't think so!
