Dear BO: Will your successor be forced to apologize for the US doing nothing when people were shot in Tehran?

Are we now in the business of respecting the sovereignty of thugs who steal elections?

Is that what "hope and change" has turned into? Wonder how the "yes we can" screamers feel about it?

Aren't these the same Dems who criticized Pres Bush for attending the China Olympics?

Isn't this the same candidate Obama who blasted free trade agreements because of human rights violations in Colombia?

Isn't this same BO who wanted to renegotiate NAFTA because of a lack of labor or environmental regulations in Mexico?

Who is going to stand up for people getting killed and brutally attacked in Iran?

We understand that a president has to be careful in responding to international threats.

We are not suggesting that Pres BO say that the opposition won the election.

Shouldn't he formally call on thugs to stop beating up people in the streets?

Stand up for free elections in Iran.

By the way, can someone put a "pro-freedom" speech in Pres BO's teleprompter?

BO's informal remarks at The White House yesterday lacked passion or concern for the people of Iran!

BO's remarks reminded us that this guy can not say a thing without a teleprompter!

This is from Bret Stephens:

"Here's a recent comment from one Iranian demonstrator posted on the Web site of the National Iranian American Council.

"WE NEED HELP, WE NEED SUPPORT," this demonstrator wrote.

"Time is not on our side. . . . The most essential need of young Iranians is to be recognized by US government. They need them not to accept the results and do not talk to government as an official, approved one."

Someday a future president may have to apologize to Iranians for Mr. Obama's nonfeasance"

We agree with Jonah Goldberg: Obama's choice is not to choose on Iran
