Be careful about voting for the guy with lots of promises: Your taxes will go up!

We are now into "details", i.e. how much is all of this going to cost?

How much are your taxes going up? Why should I trade my private sector insurance policy for "BO-Care"?

Rich Lowry has a good post about this thing called "BO-Care":

"The game is simple: Pretend to cut so you can spend."

Where is the money coming from? Nobody knows!

Medicare is going broke. Social Security needs massive reform or the checks will bounce a lot sooner than you think.

Where is the evidence that government can run something effectively and any better than the private sector?

I don't see it.

I certainly don't see it anytime that I walk into the post office or visit a government office!

William Murchison speaks for so many of us who yearn for details and specifics:

"The content-less speech, which you can't remember when it's over except that it sure sounded good, is the Barack Obama specialty.

Audiences eat it up with spoons.

He promises change, promises unity, promises transformation.

It sounds so good you want to march.

March where?

That's the eternal question with Obama."

We need specifics and details. We need a complete cost analysis. We don't need any more speeches about coming together or healing the planet!

Simple question: What's all of this going to cost me and the other half of the country that pays 97% of the federal income taxes!
