Whatever happened to the stimulus plan?

Remember the stimulus plan that had to be passed immediately? Remember all of the nonsense about passing the plan now?

Well, it's not working well.

The Washington Examiner has a great editorial: Obama’s plan stimulates the deficit, not the economy:

"Since the $787 billion spending measure was approved, 1.2 million Americans have lost their jobs and unemployment has ratcheted up to 8.9 percent – the highest it’s been since 1983.

Unemployment is beyond even what President Barack Obama’s own economic advisors predicted it would be with no recovery plan – and definitely not what Americans were told to expect."
