VP Cheney told the truth; Speaker Pelosi did not!

A few months ago, we posted this: Have you heard any Dems contradict VP Cheney?

Today, we saw this in The Washington Post:

"Intelligence officials released documents this evening saying that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was briefed in September 2002 about the use of harsh interrogation tactics against al-Qaeda prisoners, seemingly contradicting her repeated statements over the past 18 months that she was never told that these techniques were actually being used."

ABC News has a similar report: Intelligence Report: Pelosi Briefed on Use of Interrogation Tactics in Sept. ’02

What can we conclude? Let's look at a couple of possibilities:

a) Nancy Pelosi was distracted on September 2002. She was present but her mind was elsewhere;

b) Nancy Pelosi has a bad memory;

c) Nancy Pelosi is a poll-reader; and,

d) Nancy Pelosi lied.

My money is (c) and (d).

Who is going to apologize to VP Cheney? It looks like he is the only telling the truth in this story.
