We want profiles in courage.

Pres Truman was born 125 years ago.
The Truman Library is celebrating the occasion with a number of programs and seminars.
It's a good history lesson. It's all online!
It's a good opportunity to read about one of the most consequential and unlikely presidencies in US history.
There are also Truman at 125 photos and you can see them online!
Check out The Truman Library website and check out all of the events.
P.S. On May 8, 1945, or Pres Truman's 61st birthday, he announced that the war in Europe was over. He had been president for less than a month! A few months later, he dropped two atomic bombs and forced Japan to surrender.
