From 2003 to 2006, Hank Blalock was one of the best hitting third basemen in baseball. He hit a homer in the 2003 All Star Game to put the AL ahead to stay. He played in the 2004 game as well!
Unfortunately, injuries slowed down Blalock for much of 2006-08. Some were even wondering if Blalock's career was over before he was 30 years old!
Blalock is back and it's great.
