Close GITMO and open another GITMO?

No matter what, we will hold GITMO terrorists indefinitely:

"President Obama acknowledged publicly for the first time yesterday that some detainees at Guantanamo Bay may have to be held without trial indefinitely, siding with conservative national security advocates on one of the most contentious issues raised by the closing of the military prison in Cuba." (WashPost)

Let me get this straight. First, did BO just break another campaign promise? Second, what's the difference between holding someone indefinitely at GITMO or a maximum prison in Colorado?

Are we going to build another GITMO to keep the really bad guys?

Question: Why not just keep GITMO open and save the money? Also, why not forget about the 250 in GITMO and start thinking about the thousands in the battlefield?

P.S. I like this from Toby Harnden from the UK: The 10 punches Dick Cheney landed on Barack Obama's jaw
