BO can't vote present anymore.....or make statements that go unchallenged!

What a difference a mailing address can make.

Before he moved to The White House, candidate BO said this:

"“Last point, Guantanamo.

That’s easy.

Close down Guantanamo.”

The audience broke into applause." (York)

Yes, the "yes we can" screamers broke into applause. Wonder how many of them are applauding today?

Our new resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is finding out that there is nothing easy about GITMO: The Gordian knot of Guantánamo Bay

He is also finding out that people are actually listening to what he is saying rather than simply jumping up and down in irrational affirmation: Obama's Detention Plans Face Scrutiny!

Bill Kristol is now asking: But Enough About Me . . ! Have you noticed how often BO speaks about himself?

Fred Barnes has a policy question: An Overleveraged Presidency? Have you noticed how much Pres BO is trying to do? ("Tax hikes, increased energy costs, and new regulations work against the economic recovery that soaring spending and peacetime deficits at historic highs are supposed (by Obama at least) to spur. A more likely result: stagflation, a simultaneous surge in inflation and interest rates.")

Last, but not least, we hear that the left wing base is getting frustrated with Pres BO: Obama's liberal base takes aim over terror policies

Can you blame them?

It was the party's left wing who picked up an unknown first term US Senator and put him over the top in the nomination process.

It was the left wing who filled arenas and irrationally said: "yes we can"!

Today, the left wing is asking: Who is Obama? Where is that guy who used to tell us what we wanted to hear?

Welcome to the club!

Nobody knows who BO is, specially the 62 million who voted for him.

In contrast, the 57 million who voted for McCain knew who he was.

McCain had a 40 year record of achievement and personal bravery under the most adverse circumstances.

What did the 62 million see in Obama?

No resume or any legislative record. (He did sit in Rev Wright's for 20 years!)

Just a lot of hope that he would turn out to be as good as his rhetoric.

Get ready for the big disillusionment!

It will be here a lot sooner than you think!
