Torture memos? BO gives the left a few munchies!

We repeat it again: We were not attacked after 9-11.

Therefore, Pres Bush must have done something right.

It can't be luck!

Why weren't we attacked?

We don't know for sure but I think that Pres Bush's attitude had a lot to do with it.

Pres Bush drew the line and said never again. It worked!

Now, Pres Obama throws a few "munchies" to the left by releasing some memos that "embarrass the US" rather than make us safer.

Does any serous person believe that Al Qaeda is going to stop cutting heads off because we just released these memos?

Gen. Hayden was director of the Central Intelligence Agency from 2006 to 2009.

Mr. Mukasey was attorney general of the United States from 2007 to 2009.

"The release of these opinions was unnecessary as a legal matter, and is unsound as a matter of policy.

Its effect will be to invite the kind of institutional timidity and fear of recrimination that weakened intelligence gathering in the past, and that we came sorely to regret on Sept. 11, 2001."

What's wrong with Pres BO's decision?

First, he is playing politics with national security. Obama and the Dems were not responsible for defending the country after 9-11.

They didn't have to make those awful life and death decisions that presidents make.

Second, we are bringing the pre 9-11 mentality back! The 9-11 Commission was very critical. We fell asleep and that's why we got hit!

Let's hope that we are not attacked again.

If we are attacked, Pres BO will own it and he will regret that a lot! I agree with Con Coughlin: "All it is going to take is a massive terror attack to teach President Obama that there is a world of difference between the politics of the campaign trail and those of high office."

We agree with IBD: Inexcusable Lapse

P.S. Bill O'Reilly welcomed the release. I don't. However, I agree with much of what O'Reilly is saying, specially the left's nonsense that the US is a torture nation.

Here is the bottom line: Bush kept us safe. Let's see if Obama can keep the streak going:
