We've always had mixed feelings about Joe Biden.
The good news is that Joe Biden was the most qualified Dem running for president in 2008.
To be fair, the 2008 field did not have a single candidate with any executive experience. Biden's experience and maturity stood out!
The bad news is that Joe Biden has a "gaffe problem"!
VP Biden is going around making up a story about a meeting with Pres Bush in the Oval Office.
It makes no sense. Who in the world is stupid enough to believe that a US Senator would spend 2 hours with the president?
This is an exaggeration. Biden is out of his mind! Why in the world would Pres Bush want to spend two hours with Joe Biden?
According to experts, Joe Biden was supposed to be BO's Dick Cheney, an elder statesman with foreign policy credentials.
What's the problem? Cheney had Bush's ear. Cheney was one of the most influential VPs in US history.
I don't think that Biden has Obama's ear.
My guess is that Biden will say a lot more things because he needs attention.
VP Biden is bored to tears. He wants to go back to the US Senate. The "gaffes" will get better and better. It will be comical to watch the "bored to tears" VP Biden!
