You can put me down as "sick and tired" of watching Pres BO apologize for the US and make excuses for the Euros.
Frankly, shouldn't the Euros apologize to us? Where are the Euro troops to support the NATO operation?
Is this guy on The Oprah Winfrey Show or on the world stage?
Bill O'Reilly has a message for Pres BO:
""President Obama's Monday morning quarterbacking [of Pres. Bush] may get him cred in the salons of Paris, but I believe he's dead wrong and insulting to the brave Americans in the field who have kept us safe.
So let's hope President Obama doesn't have to deal with mass murder on his watch.
He should cut his country some slack and knock it off, especially overseas."
It wasn't easy to keep this country safe.
He can start by understanding our threats, such as North Korea.
He can stop blaming the US, specially in Europe where thousands of US soldiers died so that the French can speak French rather than German!
Why is BO blaming the US?
I don't know for sure. However, I like Why does he bash us?:
"This is America-bashing, not simply Bush-bashing."
"So what was Obama's purpose in implying that until he came along, his own government was engaged in torturing prisoners?
His speech was carried live by Al Jazeera and Al Arabiya, broadcast into countries where "torture" doesn't mean getting your face wet.
Obama at least impliedly exaggerated the supposed sins of his predecessors and the "change" brought about by himself.
Why? For what purpose?
Isn't the campaign over?"
Furthermore, all of this "torture" is an insult to the men and women who have kept us safe.
Also, why didn't he mention Pres Clinton's rendition jails overseas? Isn't this where we kept the bad guys before Gitmo?
Did Pres Clinton torture?
I like Rick Moran's OBAMA’S FORIEGN TRIP ABOUT WHAT YOU’D EXPECT FROM A LIBERAL ROOKIE:
"It worries me that Obama might believe in this legend and will seek to further subsume American interests in hopes that this mythical “solidarity” can be found again - a return to a time that never existed and a relationship that has been romanticized by the left.
The fact is, Obama may be popular but America is not - not now and will not likely be in the future - unless Obama completely goes native and hands the keys to American foreign policy to the EU."
I like Wes Pruden's Tickling with cheap flattery:
"The president is understandably eager to see whether his honeyed tongue can tease and tickle the Europeans the way it teases the libido and scratches the itch of the hoi polloi at home, but the early returns show that he gave away a lot more than he got in return, which was nothing.
The European masses shouted the expected hosannas - this is Easter week, after all - but so far that's all the messiah from the south side of Chicago has to show for his groveling."
It's time for Pres BO to come home and apologize to us!
