First, some clown in Spain has started an investigation against Bush administration officials.

"The New York Times reports that a Spanish court is considering filing human-rights charges, and issuing arrest warrants, against former attorney general Alberto Gonzales and five other Bush administration officials.
The putative defendants did not carry out a single belligerent act, conduct a single interrogation, or direct the operation of any military or intelligence agents actually engaged in hostilities."

Now, let me get this straight:
Spain, a country that can not defend itself and must be protected by the US Mediterranean Fleet, is going around filing lawsuits against US officials.
Will they be sending "The Spanish Armada" to arrest Bush?
Will the ships sink before they get here?
Will the Spanish left file "war crimes" charges against Fidel and Raul Castro? Did these people file "war crimes" charges against Saddam Hussein for dropping chemical bombs on the Kurds?
Just curious.
Spain, a country that used to be a superpower about 400 years ago, is pretending that it will be the world's judge of "criminal behavior".

It's amazing that The NY Times would put this story on its Sunday front page.
I wish that my Spanish grandfather was still around.
I think that he would call his countrymen a few names and crack his "baston" on their misguided and foolish leftist heads.
