6 years later: The amazing story of Iraq!
(We have always loved this picture from Michael Yon's website)
Isn't this amazing?
Bad news is front page news.
Good news is not in the newspapers at all.
We've been cautiously optimistic about Iraq.
We understand that it is still a fragile democracy. However, it is a democracy, or a huge contrast to Saddam's rule.
IBD has a great editorial today:
"During his vicious 20-year reign, Saddam Hussein — remember him? — killed an estimated 5% of Iraq's population.
That works out to about 5,000 people a month slaughtered by the regime." (Bush's Big Victory)
We are proud of all of the US soldiers who fought in Iraq. We are specially happy that Pres Bush didn't read polls like then Sen Obama!
We are happy for the Iraqi people. It's nice to see them smiling and enjoying a new life.
P.S. This is an ABC report.
