The "we hate Bush" world is about to get hit with Obama disillusion!

We believe that this is the first anti-Obama placard in the Middle East. He joins every other US president who has been maligned in the world's streets.

Obama now faces the reality that the US supports Israel.

This is why Obama's face is next to the Israeli PM and Egyptian president in this placard.

As Bush moves out and Obama moves in, the "we hate Bush" world is painfully coming to the realization that nothing will change.

The US is 100% behind Israel.

Why is Obama dead silent about Israel's Gaza operation? Because Obama agrees with Bush!

Obama won't change Bush's policy in Iraq. How is that for a punch between the eyes for all of those who supported the anti-war candidate?

Ready for war? Afghanistan will likely become Obama's war.

We are not sure if most Dems are ready to support another war. Afghanistan is going to be 1,000 times more complicated than Iraq.

Afghan's terrain is horrible for a land war. It will take a long time to turn Afghanistan around.

Our NATO partners, except for Canada and the UK, have not sent troops.

Do you remember Obama's Germany speech? They cheered every line except the one about sending German troops to Afghanistan!

How long before the Dem anti-war wing turns against Afghanistan?

How long before the world's streets carry placards that say that Obama is killing civilians in Afghanistan?

It won't be long! It won't be long before they say that Obama is too much like Bush!

Diplomacy? Obama is not going to sit down with rogue leaders, as he promised in an early debate.

In fact, Obama's foreign policy team looks a lot like one that McCain could have put together. Gates? James?

So much for "hope and change", specially for all of those silly enough to fall for it.

We recall our favorite article from 2007. It was Gerard Baker from the UK. He called it Oh George, what will we do when you’re gone?:

"Having those guys around for so long provided a comfortable substitute for thinking hard about global challenges, a kind of intellectual escapism."

That's right. Blaming Bush became an international past time, a wonderful distraction from dealing with real problems, such all of those young men ready to burn down Paris!

"Can we expect dramatic, immediate changes? Probably not."

We warned the "yes we can" screamers about getting their hopes up.

I guess that the great disillusionment is now coming and coming fast!
