You gotta laugh at this little disclosure:
"The Senate Finance Committee this afternoon released thirty pages of documents relating to various adjustments to Treasury Secretary nominee Timothy F. Geithner's tax returns for 2001-2006.
The principal issue is his failure to pay self-employment taxes when he worked for the International Monetary Fund, as well as the immigration status of a housekeeper.
Perhaps most surprising is that Mr. Geithner prepared his own tax returns in four of the years in question."
Let me be fair and add that Mr. Geithner is actually a very good nominee for Treasury.
However, can the guy assuming responsibility for the IRS be this careless with his personal tax returns?

Didn't this guy consult a CPA?
According to the WSJ:
"Timothy Geithner didn't pay Social Security and Medicare taxes for several years while he worked for the International Monetary Fund, and he employed an immigrant housekeeper who briefly lacked proper work papers."
Again, Mr. Geithner is a very smart man.
However, you gotta pay your taxes in the US!
Just ask Al Capone!
