It seems like only yesterday that George W Bush bought The Texas Rangers.
In 1994, he defeated incumbent Gov. Richards. He was reelected with 69% of the vote in 1998.
Last, but not least, he won two elections for president.
It's amazing how quickly 20 years can fly by!
In a couple of months, Pres. Bush and Mrs. Bush will be moving back home and living in North Dallas.
Laura Bush has apparently selected a home. (Link: Map of 10141 Daria Place) They will spend their retirement between Dallas and the ranch in Waco.
We will be happy to have George and Laura Bush back in the area.
Perhaps we will see him again at a baseball game.
