In Europe, and over here, BO is starting to look a lot like Bush!

BO is driving some Dems a big crazy. He is apparently driving a few Euros a bit crazy too.

Alex Spillius wrote today:

"On a range of issues, from Kosovo, China, Russia and Nato's eastward expansion, and the Middle East, former White House officials and leading analysts are disappointed at how quickly the president-elect has moved to the centre ground since his election just a month ago.

"The tone, image and symbolism will be different, and he will have more interest in multi-lateral solutions [than George W. Bush]," said Doug Bandow, a former adviser to President Ronald Reagan.

"But I don't see evidence of dramatic change."

Of course, Gerard Baker , from the UK, warned the Euros about this almost two years ago:

"The US President is a useful bogeyman - but his successor's policies may not be much different"

Over the last 8 years, bashing Bush was an international pastime. I guess that they will angry at Obama now, specially after he calls on the Euros to fulfill their NATO obligations in Afghanistan.

Change? Not really! What we saw was someone telling millions, here and over there, what they wanted to hear.

P.S. We do expect the Pres elect to fulfill his campaign promise and push for a college football playoff system.

We will be happy to hear that in Texas, specially after the BCS this year.

I'm not sure that the Euros will be very happy to hear that!
