Do we need another media controversy in 2008?
Today, we learned that Gwen Ifill is releasing a pro-Obama book.
Is that sweet or what?
Why not have a moderator who wrote a book about pro-life women and their contributions to US politics?
What would the pro-abortion Dems say about that?
Here is the other issue: Single moderators don't work, unless you are Jim Lehrer. He is the only one who can do this. Lehrer is excellent and no one questions his bias.
It would be better to have 3-4 journalists. I don't like to have one person writing all of these questions. It's better to spread the material between several journalists.
Didn't someone at the debate commission consider the fact that the moderator was publishing a book about Obama?
Why add this kind of controversy to a VP debate? We don't need any more controversy in this campaign about the media being in the tank for Obama.
